Who rides the OSR

Find yourobjective

Five ways to race the same four days.

01

The season opener

For professional and elite riders looking for a domestic stage race to start a season.

The date

Memorial Day weekend is early — you get four hard days in before the summer calendar fills up.

The racing

Four straight days of timed racing on real singletrack. That's how you find race legs, and it's all right here.

02

The category hunt

For racers chasing a real result in their own category.

The field

There's a category for everyone from juniors to masters 60+, and every day is chip timed.

The record

Win your category and the result gets published — and it stays on file.

03

The day-job racer

For riders who train before work and have a meeting on Monday.

The ask

It runs over a long weekend, so the whole race only costs you two days of leave.

The base

Arrive Wednesday, settle in once, and head home Monday. Drive from across the region or fly into XNA, 15–20 minutes from the area.

04

The stage debut

For riders doing their first stage race.

The options

Grab a partner and race it as a team of two, the way the great stage races are ridden — or ride it solo, or take the touring class with no clock on you at all.

The shape

No single day will break you. It's doing them four days in a row that makes it a stage race.

05

The dirt first

For riders who come for the quality of the singletrack.

The course

Experience the world-famous OZ Trails on a marked, supported course — a guided, high-speed way to see the region’s singletrack.

The reward

Four days to explore the trails with the course planned and support in place. Come for the riding, and race it as a team, solo or e-bike touring.

What to expect

Four race days in a row

The individual days are not long. Doing them consecutively is the event.

About 110 miles and 9,264 feet

Roughly a hundred feet of climbing per mile, mostly in short steep efforts.

Technical singletrack

Berms, built rock and hand-cut ledge from the first mile to the last.

Late May in Arkansas

Warm, green and humid. Plan your hydration properly.

Ozark chert

Beautiful to ride and hard on tires. Bring good ones and a plan for a cut sidewall.

Wednesday to Monday

Drive in or fly into XNA, 15–20 minutes from the area. Stay in Bella Vista or Bentonville and unpack once.

Four days. One long weekend.

Registration opens November 1, 2026 at 8 AM Central.
