The heart of the race. Start together, finish together, one time between you — stay within two minutes of each other or the gap becomes a penalty. Share the work, the strategy and the story. $425 per rider, with a $6,000 team purse across Open Men’s, Open Women’s and Open Co-Ed Team. One rider registers with their teammate’s name, birthday and email.

The trails, energy and camaraderie without chasing podium spots. Solo $450 or Open Team $850; U23 / Junior Solo $300 or Team $500. Class 1 only; no throttle; 20 mph assist cap. Bring a range extender or second battery.
The OSR is raced by fourteen-year-olds and by riders in their sixties, by professionals and by people doing their first stage race. The categories are there so you are racing the right people.

We understand things come up and plans change, and we do our best to give you a flexible refund and deferral program. The OZ Stage Race is a complex, large-scale multi-day event: we enter into numerous pre-event contracts with cities, venues, caterers, entertainment producers and ride support teams.
Riders from any category may receive a full refund minus a 15% admin fee. Refunds usually process within 3-5 business days.
Any category participant may transfer their entry to another rider within the same category for no additional fee. Participants who wish to withdraw their entry may defer their fee as a credit toward 2028.
Due to the complexity of this event, we cannot honor deferral requests received after May 15, 2027 unless proof of extenuating circumstances is provided.
